Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-06-12
These terms govern your use of PPWR Declaration of Conformity Builder (https://ppwr.sellerguardrails.com), a free informational drafting tool. There are no user accounts, no registration, no subscriptions and no paid features on this site.
Nature of the service
The site helps brand owners and importers draft a Declaration of Conformity aligned with the Annex VIII model of Regulation (EU) 2025/40 (PPWR) — the obligation to draw it up being Article 39 — with reference to its Articles on substances of concern (Art. 5), recycled content (Art. 7), recyclability (Art. 6), harmonised standards (Art. 36) and economic-operator obligations (Art. 15–17). Every output is a drafting aid, not a binding declaration. The tool does not sign, file, register or submit any declaration to any authority, and does not constitute legal, regulatory or conformity-assessment advice. Final conformity depends on case-specific facts, applicable harmonised standards, and the responsible economic operator's own assessment. For decisions with legal or financial consequences, consult a qualified compliance adviser.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the site lawfully, not to disrupt or reverse engineer its operation, and not to present the generated specimen as an official or third-party-verified determination of conformity.
Our content
The texts, decision logic, datasets and design are owned by the site operator (identified in the legal notice) unless otherwise attributed. You may quote short excerpts with attribution; commercial redistribution requires prior permission. The declaration text you produce from your own inputs is yours to use.
Third-party references
The site cites third-party sources (the European Commission, EUR-Lex, and EU regulations) for reference. We are not responsible for the availability or continued accuracy of external resources.
No warranty and liability
The site is provided "as is", free of charge. Datasets may become outdated; the "last verified" date shown on the page reflects the last review. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of the outputs produced — including declarations signed, filed or relied upon.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
